Hello and welcome to our short October newsletter.
After such a lovely summer we are now moving into the start of longer nights, turning the heating on and putting the clocks back. In the garden it is pruning time and hopefully an opportunity to see the return of some green grass to replace the parched surfaces.
With over 20 regular activities taking place across the week at the Community Centre this may be an opportunity for you or family members to consider joining one of these sessions. For more information of “what’s on” you can view our diary which details events, times and contact details, on our website https://chellastonca.org/chellaston-community-centre-diary
Our Annual General Meeting planned for the 1st October unfortunately has had to been rescheduled at the last minute due to Covid within our team and now will take place on Saturday 29th October at 09.30.
The Centre continues to be an extremely popular facility for hiring for private family events at weekends. We suggest planning ahead to avoid disappointment and all the information about hiring the Centre can be viewed on our website or give us a call on 07895386433.
Finally, if you would like to start up a new group activity, please contact us to discuss what opportunities we may be able to provide for you at the Centre whether this be in our Main Hall or self-contained large meeting room. Also, why not consider joining us as a Trustee in overseeing the management and operation of the Centre. If interested, please get in touch via enquiries@chellastonca.org.
