We hope that you enjoyed the Spirit of Chellaston event last month and would like to thank the organising committee for putting on a great show. Also, a big thanks to volunteers and our Trustees in the Centre providing refreshments and welfare facilities to all attendees.
This event remains a firm feature in the Chellaston community calendar and something we do not wish to lose. The team work hard to generate the necessary funding to put on this event with sponsorship from local businesses and in previous years grant funding from the Neighbourhood Board. If local groups, businesses and residents can help either financially or providing new entertainment ideas for the Spirit of Chellaston event please make contact with the team – chellastonevents@live.co.uk
This month sees the end of the school year and summer holiday time so during the week the Centre will be less busy and an opportunity to carry out the never-ending maintenance and upgrading tasks.
The Centre continues with several of our regular activities, including a new Sunday morning worship group, and is also busy with weekend bookings for Children’s parties and family gatherings. Summertime provides the opportunity for hirers to make use of the garden area especially when larger inflatable bouncy castles feature as part of the children’s entertainment.
Hire availability is all day Saturday until 9.30pm and Sunday afternoons between 1 and 5.30pm and you can take a video tour of our premises by visiting our website hiring a room page https://chellasonca.org/hiring-a-room. You can view our calendar on the website and bookings can be completed electronically. We do recommend planning ahead to avoid any disappointment as bookings are now back to our pre-covid levels.
